Can Silma develop technical documentation from an architectural concept?
Yes. We can translate the architectural intent into a solution that can be manufactured and installed, select materials and coordinate details with the architect and site management.
Do you provide site measurement and installation?
Yes. The scope can include site measurement, manufacturing documentation, production, transport and complete installation.
Which materials do you use for railings?
We manufacture components from carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium, with infill options including perforated sheet and wire mesh. Materials and thicknesses are selected for the design and operating conditions.
How are components protected against corrosion?
Depending on the material and environment, protection can include galvanising and powder coating. The applicable system is agreed for each project.
Can you repair railings manufactured by another supplier?
Yes. We can identify the cause, propose a repair process, remove components, restore corrosion protection and reinstall the repaired elements.
Can the work be delivered in stages?
Yes. Production and installation are coordinated with construction progress. For example, the supporting structure can be installed before facade work, with damage-sensitive infill panels fitted at a later stage.
