Silma Tools Sp. z o.o. has operated since 16 April 1997, while the roots of the Silma brand reach back to the 1960s.

The Silma name first became established through electric-motor production and high-output cutting dies using sintered components—tools engineered for long service and production volumes measured in millions of parts.
Silma Tools has continued that industrial heritage in Sosnowiec since 1997. Today, the company specialises in precision metalworking, tool manufacture and refurbishment, and solving non-standard production challenges.
Its capability has expanded to include 5-axis machining of hardened materials, HAIMER shrink-fit toolholding, EDM, hard turning, coordinate measurement and modern CAD/CAM systems.

A historical supply-quality certificate records the standards met by Silma S.A. as a production-component supplier to Fiat Auto Poland.
Expansion of production capability
Investment in machining centres, turning, coordinate measurement and engineering software broadened the range of complex components the company could deliver.
Hard-material and 5-axis technologies
Further development projects introduced 5-axis machining and precision turning of hardened materials.
